Chapter 10: The Flower of Eternal Compassion

With Luna Lumos Maximos beaten and trapped in Ice Fang's steamy edge, only one thing was left to do: go up the last stairs of the Tower of Darkness and get the Flower of Eternal Compassion!

They stepped onto the stairs!

And climbed!

They climbed for a day! Then two! Then a week! A month! A year!

Three years went by – but they never felt hungry or thirsty! Just the pull of memories and what it all meant!

The stairs didn't just go up – they breathed! Time twisted around them! Seasons changed between steps! On one landing, they stopped to drink honey tea made over dreamfire! On another, they stood quietly, watching falling snow that whispered the names of people they loved and lost!

Zsolista thought a lot! About the tower! About the bad guys! About herself! Each floor had peeled something away, showing a soft part she had forgotten under her tough armor! Baby hummed songs she didn't remember learning! Boka told jokes they had already heard – but they laughed even harder each time!

Together, they weren't just climbing! They were changing!

The tower, they realized, had never been a prison! It had been a test! A mirror! A final recipe that needed three strange things: bravery, friendship, and kindness!

And so, with heavier hearts but happier spirits, they climbed!

Towards whatever was at the top!

The tower stretched time like sticky candy and slow stars, each step humming with an old purpose! But Zsolista, Boka, and Baby kept going, laughing as they shared memories, spooky stories, and soup recipes that mixed together like dream ingredients!

Seasons floated sideways through the windows! They saw oceans boiling with stars, forests frozen in the rain, and versions of themselves walking backward or waving in reverse! Once, they passed a quiet Zsolista holding a bunch of invisible flowers!

But their laughter never stopped! Not even once!

Finally, the stairs disappeared into light! In front of them was a shiny door shaped like a cat's paw – five clear pads, each with glowing letters of joy, sadness, hunger, giving, and meeting again!

Zsolista took out the Cat Paw Relic, made from all five pieces, and put it in the hole carefully!

A musical sound rang out!

The door disappeared!

Beyond it was like paradise!

The room floated in a bubble of space – a magical garden hanging in the stars! Flowers grew from shiny vines! Trees grew upside down, their roots curled around the sky! Dew sparkled like moonlight! Clouds turned into animals and dreams!

And in the middle – resting on a stand of soft mist, stone, and lullabies – was one single flower! Its petals glowed with the shimmer of remembered kindness! It pulsed like a slow, never-ending heartbeat!

Boka gasped! "Queen Mother May-or-Zsol is gonna be SO surprised! She'll cry AND shout! Boka-Boka!"

Baby floated forward, drawn by the sweet smell! "It smells like everything good in the world! It's-a-Baby!"

Zsolista walked closer – carefully and quietly! She reached for it –

– and her hand stopped!

A shiny wall surrounded the flower, like a delicate bubble of light! Its magic was old! Not mean! Just… waiting!

She put her hand on it! A soft warmth went through her!

"This is from Invokar," she said. "Magic I can't break. It needs something else!"

"A password?" Baby asked!

Zsolista shook her head! "A feeling! A memory! A promise!"

Then –

Meow!

From the quiet, starry room, a shape appeared – tiny, glowing, and super soft! A cat, bright as starlight and gentle as a breath, stepped into view! Its fur shimmered with the glow of galaxies! Its eyes held the sadness of long ago and the kindness of saved dreams!

Luna Lumos Maximos!

No longer a king! No longer a monster!

Just… a cat!

He blinked slowly, then walked forward with the patience of someone set free! Without stopping, he jumped onto the stand!

The light bubble around the flower shimmered once, then folded in on itself like a flower petal in moonlight! It disappeared with a sigh!

The Flower was free – its light no longer guarded, but given as a gift!

Zsolista bowed, not because she had to, but because she respected the kindness!

Boka scooped up the cat! "You're mine now! Your name is Luna! You get snacks! And naps! And maybe a silly hat! Boka-Boka!"

Zsolista knelt and picked the flower!

It didn't fight back! It felt like holding your breath! Like tears before laughing! Like love without words!

She put it into her Bag of Wonderment!

The tower pulsed!

Light came back!

Stone shimmered! Shadows peeled away like old memories! Windows blinked open, showing blue skies and whispering winds! The whole tower breathed out – not with heaviness, but with relief! And then, with something more than light…

It smiled!

They felt it!

The thankfulness of a place that was once broken! A tower that had been a place for learning and healing! Made bad, quieted, and twisted by kings who had forgotten how to be soft! And now – finally, finally – it was whole!

Zsolista put her hand on the wall, letting her fingers touch the cool stone!

"You were beautiful all along," she whispered!

Boka pressed his forehead to the ground! "Thank you for the yummy tastes! For the echoes! For the snacks! Boka-Boka!"

Baby floated near a window, watching petals drift from nowhere! "The tower is dreaming again," she murmured!

Zsolista turned to her friends, her cloak lifting gently in the breeze!

"Shall we jump?"

"YES!" Baby and Boka cried together, laughter already in their voices!

They jumped!

And fell like stars! Not running away – but coming back! Not escaping – but delivering something special!

Bright and full of joy, they fell towards the world they had saved!

Below, Queen Mother May-or-Zsol’s crowning was almost here!

The royal kitchens smelled amazing!

And Zsolista, Boka, Baby – and now Luna – had one last recipe to share!

The greatest dish ever dreamed was just beginning!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yay!!! We finished our first journey and we have so many more to go.

Not to toot my own horn here haha but I am so proud of myself for finally finishing a story. Even if its a short one, I am glad I did it and put myself out there. Its been so hard to finish as I keep critiquing myself and wanting it to be the perfect lenghth and pace and all that stuff.

I researched endlessly on how to write and how to translate it to a movie (just incase, delusion is a hell of a drug and its my addiction) and shows and all this other stuff. I think I just liked planning and telling myself I will write it all one day and I just never did.

I have been thinking about becoming a writer for many many years, I have planned and plotted so many things and told so many stories that never amounted to anything or really ever finished.

This one might not be perfect, it might not make sense, it might not have something I didnt think a bout or it might be inconsistent but I did it. I finished and now I know I can just keep writing and keep finishing stories and one day it will be more so about perfecting it rather than actually accomplishing it.

Thank you if you read this, hope you are excited to join me as this is going to be a long and fruitful process. We will be going through alot, I mean like this is a whole universe lol.
