4.12.25 - Zsolterran Lore pt 2

Created from the back of the Outrr, the natives of Nadii are often mistaken for lizards or dragons. They are infact turtles, the great reptiles of Nadii come from a long line of unmovable reptiles. The scales on their back are flat and hidden among their clothes, yet they can absorb the sun like no other. The sun feeds their back, the energy becomes their life force. Allowing the Nadii to innately breathe fire and withstand hot heat. The ruffians of the Nadii who leave the clan are called “Fighting Turtles”, they work as mercenaries, doing the bidding of the highest bidder. They not only fight wars, but they also do odd jobs that are necessary for heating, especially in the colder regions. The Nadii people can emit heat as they sleep, the heat is so tremendous that they can light the branches of a “aasdw” tree into ashes in minutes. 

The FTs often work for water processing plants and the different manufacturers in the bigger cities, they are used as human heaters, the more adept FTs that can utilize manifestations are called into the distant wars that are always ongoing. Most FTs are content with living a working class life in the bigger cities as they  often are the cast aways of the Nadii people. The Nadiians that cannot finish the “Trial of Heat”. The FTs who find work in the cities are often treated as second class citizens due to the work they provide. Not many races in Zsolterra can utilize their body as a natural resource, but the ones that do are often looked down upon due to their jealousy of the utility. For the yellow king values utility. 

The FTs who can utilize manifestations are recruited to join the warfront for whatever Country they end up in, the ones who can invoke or have gone to an Invokation school are taken as “Frae Tortellous” these FTs are given the highest rankings in the military. The reasoning behind this is due to their prowess in the battlefield, FTs who can invoke a god and summon its manifestation are highly sought after. Not many can contend against a fully charged FT.

One great general to note is general LBU, one of the fiercest FTs to ever exist. LBU’s scales absorb energy 5 times faster than an average FT, his manifestation is the spear Chiljido, as he can invoke the “One with Nature” we cannot speak their name. Chiljido was a mighty spear that wrapped around LBUs right arm, its wings behind his back and its beak protruding out of LBUs hand. Around the beak lie Chiljidos feet and eyes, its feet creating a 7-edged spear that tears apart all its competitors. Chiljido can spring with its long neck and reach distances that most would think is safe. His invocation techniques are truly battlefield altering as he can summon beast of earth and roots of air to transform the battleground, depending on which moon is above LBU, his invocation changes a process known as “Mantra Locq” 

Scholars believe that the “Mantra Locq” was due to the influence of the Bardos lingering dimensional energy, which transforms and skews the god particles of the Outrr. During the right moon, LBU invokes the wind, but it can only form on him, during the left moon, LBU invokes the earth, which is formed around him, slowing him down but increasing his defense a hundred fold. Depending on the moon above, LBUs beast of earth and roots of air can grow or wane. A beast of earth underneath the left moon can become the embodiment of the Nadii people, a hulking turtle is summoned and is formed around LBU, creating his walking defence. The air roots summoned during a right moon becomes nature itself, sharp roots twist and turn warping Chiljido and increasing its size and length, becoming one of the renderers. Chiljido with the right moon and air root active, can cleave the battlefield in two with one strike. 

LBU was last scene at the great battle of “One of the Chinese battles use as reference” fighting one of the 3 emperors of the “Island 5?” LBU will go down in history as a great fighter, a national treasure, a liar and a deceiver who fell to his hubris. Strength and love make you blind, but greed will kill you.
